The design of the Veteran Connection was created in a group setting. The goal was to create a veteran living facility with the proper amenities in order to provide veterans a safe and healthy place to live after they are out of the service. We utilized rosemanry, the herb, as our concept due to its known healing properties. My role in this project included the design of the kitchen and dining, with an outdoor dining area, as well as the courtyard which featured paths leading to the public way and a healing garden.
